Metal Roofing Built for Arkansas Weather
From standing seam on custom homes and commercial buildings to AG panel on shops, barns and outbuildings, we install metal roofing and siding built to last. A metal roof typically lasts around 40 years or more, far longer than most other roofing options.
Metal is where our crews do their best work: complex roof lines, low-slope transitions, glass and skylight details, and the trim work that makes a metal roof look right. We spec the system to the project and run it from panels through gutters and downspouts.
Standing Seam
Clean, concealed-fastener panels for homes and commercial buildings, in steel, aluminum and specialty metals and a wide range of finishes.
AG Panel
Exposed-fastener AG panel for roofs and walls on shops, barns, outbuildings and ranch buildings. Durable, economical and fast to install.
How It Works
Before we start, we assess your home or building and give you an honest recommendation. Then we walk you through material options, cost, and the pros and cons of each. For new construction, we install the metal roof once the structure and roof deck are complete. We measure, calculate materials and schedule the install so it fits the rest of the project.
We offer free metal roofing estimates. Call or send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Standing Seam vs. AG Panel: Which One Do You Need?
Standing seam panels lock together at raised seams, with the fasteners hidden underneath. Nothing is exposed to the weather, the lines are clean, and the panels can move with heat and cold. It's the right choice for homes, lake houses and commercial buildings where looks and long-term performance matter most.
AG panel (exposed-fastener) metal is screwed through the face of the panel. It costs less, installs faster and is tough, which makes it ideal for shops, barns, outbuildings, porches and metal siding. It does need occasional fastener checks over the years.
Why Metal Works So Well in Northwest Arkansas
- Long life. A well-installed metal roof often lasts 40 years or more, so for many homeowners it's the last roof they'll buy.
- Wind and storms. Interlocking panels and proper fastening stand up well to the spring storms that roll through NWA.
- Summer heat. Many metal finishes reflect sunlight, which helps keep attics cooler in July and August.
- Trees and debris. Leaves, pine needles and moss don't hold on metal the way they do on shingles, which helps on wooded lots in Bella Vista, Garfield and around Beaver Lake.
- Looks. From dark bronze and black on modern farmhouses to Galvalume on barns, metal fits the styles being built around here right now.
What Affects the Cost of a Metal Roof
Every roof is different, so we price each job after we've seen it or reviewed the plans. The biggest factors are:
- Panel type (standing seam or AG panel) and metal gauge
- Roof size, pitch and how many valleys, hips, dormers and penetrations it has
- Whether we're tearing off an existing roof or roofing new construction
- Underlayment, trim, snow guards and other details you choose
- Color and finish
Our Metal Roofing Process
- Inspect or review plans. We measure the roof or work from your plans and talk through panel and color options.
- Clear, itemized proposal. You'll know exactly what's included.
- Order and schedule. Panels and trim are ordered to your roof's measurements, and we set a start date.
- Prep. Tear-off if needed, deck repairs, then high-temperature underlayment.
- Install. Panels, flashing, trim and ridge, with careful detail at valleys, walls and penetrations.
- Walk-through and clean-up. We walk the job with you and sweep the site for screws and scrap.

Common Questions
How long does a metal roof last?
A properly installed metal roof often lasts 40 years or more, roughly twice as long as a typical asphalt shingle roof. Standing seam systems with concealed fasteners usually need the least maintenance.
Is a metal roof loud when it rains?
On a home with solid roof decking and underlayment, rain on a metal roof is usually not much louder than on shingles. Open-framed buildings like barns and shops are louder because there's no deck or attic underneath.
Will hail damage a metal roof?
Large hail can leave cosmetic dents in metal panels, but metal is far less likely than shingles to crack or leak from hail. Heavier-gauge panels resist denting better. Ask us about options if hail is a big concern for you.
Can you install a metal roof on my shop or barn?
Yes. AG panel metal is our go-to for shops, barns and outbuildings, and we also install metal siding on walls.
Do you install metal roofing on new construction?
Yes. We work with builders on new homes and commercial buildings, installing the metal roof once the structure and roof deck are complete.
