Board-and-batten siding on Mobius Academy

James Hardie & Board-and-Batten Siding

Siding installed by a James Hardie Alliance Program member, for homeowners and builders across Northwest Arkansas.

Siding That Looks Right and Lasts

Board-and-batten is a specialty of ours: straight battens, tight layout around windows and gables, and clean transitions to stone, trim and wood ceilings. As members of the James Hardie Alliance Program, we install Hardie fiber cement along with lap, wood, metal and vinyl siding.

Siding protects your home from the elements and sets the look of the whole exterior. We'll help you choose the right material for durability, maintenance and style, then install it with precise, careful work so it performs for years.

For Builders

We install siding on new construction, from single homes and townhomes to cottage communities and commercial buildings. Pair it with roofing and gutters for one exterior package and one less sub to manage.

Siding Options We Install

  • James Hardie lap siding. Fiber cement planks with a classic horizontal look that resist rot, pests and fire.
  • Board-and-batten. Vertical panels with battens for the modern farmhouse look that's everywhere in NWA right now.
  • Hardie trim, soffit and fascia. Matching trim that finishes the job cleanly.
  • Pine tongue-and-groove porch ceilings. Warm wood ceilings on porches and soffits that finish off a farmhouse exterior. See our Fayetteville farmhouse.
  • Metal siding. Durable and low-maintenance, great for shops, barns, commercial buildings and accent walls.
  • Vinyl siding. An affordable option for budget-conscious projects.

Why Fiber Cement for Arkansas Homes

Northwest Arkansas sees hot, humid summers, freezing winters and plenty of rain. Fiber cement doesn't rot, swell or attract woodpeckers and termites the way wood can, and it holds paint well. It's heavier and more technical to install than vinyl, which is why installer training matters. As a James Hardie Alliance Program member, our crews follow Hardie's installation requirements.

What Affects Siding Cost

  • Wall area, number of stories and how many windows and doors need trimming
  • Material (fiber cement, metal or vinyl) and style (lap or board-and-batten)
  • Pre-finished vs. field-painted product
  • Removal of old siding and any rotted sheathing underneath
  • Soffit, fascia and trim details

Roof, Siding and Gutters Together

Because we do roofing, siding and gutters, we can handle the whole exterior in one project. That means one schedule, one point of contact and clean transitions where the roof meets the walls.
